Mezcal Descartes is created by Andrés Duarte and Maestro Mezcalero Don Enrique Hernández Zenea, third generation of Maestros Mezcaleros in San Luis del Río, Oaxaca.
Mezcal Descartes is a perfectly balanced mezcal with citrus, herbal and smoky notes. A mezcal made with the heart, more than a drink, our mezcal is art.

Mezcal Pumpkin

Difficulty level: HARD

Recipe
• 45 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 30 ml Simple Syrup
• 30 ml Lime Juice
• Pumpkin Pulp
• Eggwhite

Dry shake until emulsification of eggwhite, then, shake with ice and serve in glass with ice.

Garnish: Place the glass inside the pumpkin and place a piece of cinnamon inside the glass.

Fire in the Himalayas​

Difficulty level: MEDIUM

Recipe
• 30 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 60 ml Mango Pulp
• 30 ml Chipotle Syrup (syrup 1-1 infusioned with dried chipotle chiles.)

Shake with ice and serve in glass with ice.

Garnish: Himalayas Salt, slice of orange and dried chipotle chile.

Mezcal Margarita​

Difficulty level: EASY

Recipe
• 60 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 15 ml Vermouth Dolin Blanc
• 15 ml Lime Juice
• 15 ml Agave Honey Syrup (1-1 water and agave honey)

Shake with ice and serve in Old Fashioned Glass

Garnish: Lime peel and salt on the rim of the glass

Mezcal Citronnade​

Difficulty level: MEDIUM

Recipe
• 50 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 50 ml Vermouth Dolin Blanc
• 25 ml Orange Juice
• 15 ml Agave Honey Syrup (1-1 water and agave honey)
• Top with Prosecco Frizzante

Shake with ice and serve in glass with ice, top with Prosecco Frizzante

Garnish: Slice of lemon

Le Monde​

Difficulty level: EASY

Recipe:
• 35 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 25 ml Aperol
• 25 ml St. Germain
• 15 ml Averna Amaro Siciliano

Stir and serve in an old fashioned glass with ice.

Garnish: Edible flowers

Guayaba Sunset​

Difficulty level: EASY

Recipe
• 30 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 80 ml Guava Juice
• Top with Tonic Water

Serve directly unto glass with ice.

Garnish: Slice of Guava and Rosemary

Hasta Siempre​

Difficulty level: HARD

Recipe
• 45 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 30 ml Lemon Juice
• 60 ml Infusion of Guava and Ancho Chile in Punch
• 20 ml Dow´s Fine White Port
• Half a spoon of activated charcoal
• 60 ml Stout Beer

Shake with ice and serve in a long glass with ice.

Garnish: Flamed Anis

Mezcal Mule​

Difficulty level: EASY

Recipe
• 30 ml Mezcal Descartes
• 15 ml Lemon Juice
• Top with Ginger Beer

Serve directly unto glass

Garnish: Slice of lemon and mint leaves

Oasis​

• 30 ml Orange Juice
• 60 ml Peach Juice
• 15 ml Lime Juice
