Mezcal Descartes is created by Andrés Duarte and Maestro Mezcalero Don Enrique Hernández Zenea, third generation of Maestros Mezcaleros in San Luis del Río, Oaxaca.
Mezcal Descartes is a perfectly balanced mezcal with citrus, herbal and smoky notes. A mezcal made with the heart, more than a drink, our mezcal is art.

Smoky and highly aromatic, with notes of cured or barbequed meat and a hint of lavender. Later, crisp green fruits appear. Smooth and elegant on the palate with green orchard fruits to the fore, backed up by hints of green olive and brine. Very approachable.
